I found this little ring at the market early one morning and was smitten. I've always been a sucker for Amethyst and this light lavender color is my favorite. The shape of the stone is just lovely, and is echoed but a surround of fourteen winking rose cut diamonds. A truly lovely ring.

This ring dates from about 1920, the ring itself is 18 karat yellow gold and the setting is done in white gold. It has no marks, but I have tested it. It is a size 7.25, but could be sized up or down. It weights 4 grams.

A great gift for anyone with a February birthday, or just plain old good taste!
