Here is a beautiful vintage ‘House of Lanvin” gold and black evening bag that has lots of sparkle! It will be great purse for that evening out with the Girls or on a romantic date. It is an Arpege “Le Sac Du Soir” by Lanvin Paris. A Lanvin -Design Evening Bag. Lanvin Parfums,Inc.,New York,NY.

The back of the box reads, “Especially for you from the House of Lavin…an elegant gold evening bag with dramatic black accents. Transforms itself from clutch to purse with a sleek black cord…the perfect accent to an evening of luxury and beauty”.

The clutch is in excellent condition, it looks as though it was never used. The original hard box has very light wear in a spot or two. The purse is a bright sparkly gold on the front; the pictures do not come close to showing this bright gold. The purse seems like a satin like material (not sure if it is) with stiff edges and front padding; the lining is black with a slit pocket inside. It measures 8” long by 5” wide. There was an Arpage spray with the evening bag originally, it must have been in a bigger box but that is not included with this. There is a Hong Kong tag on the inside.
