The book is filled with beautiful color illustrations by Sergio Leone.

When it comes time for Jesus to be born on Earth, the Littlest Angel gives his precious box to the Baby, but he is worried that God will think his gift too humble. However, God is pleased indeed, and transforms the box into the Star of Bethlehem. This inspirational story is perfect for reading aloud during the holidays…Christmas or any time of the year. Every mischievous boy or girl can relate to this littlest angel. This tale was first introduced on radio by Helen Hayes in the 1940’s.

The book is a large hardcover with lovely pictorial cover and beautiful endpapers. It is in good vintage condition with some spotting on the cover, bumped corners. The pages are bright, a tight sewn binding and light spotting on the edge of some of the inside pages. There is an inscription on the page before the title page with a couple of sentences written and a person’s name on the page.
